It's a big week for @zasha07 as she's headed to the Collegiate Boxing Championships at West Point representing @HuskyBoxing. Zasha is making her final appearance at nationals as a senior. She's from Toppenish and after winning the national championship last year at 132lbs she decided to drop a weight class and will be fighting at 125lbs. Zasha is a badass, puts in more work than most collegiate athletes, and her drive is going to take her a lot of amazing places in life. She's looking forward to hanging up the gloves (while holding two national belts) so she can focus more on a career in robotic prosthetics. Don't mess with her in the ring but she's real, down to earth, and has an amazing perspective on life. #HuskyBoxing #UWBoxing #206 #Seattle #DawgPack #NCBA

It's a big week for @linghong_s as she's headed to the Collegiate Boxing Championships at West Point representing @HuskyBoxing. LingHong is making her first appearance at nationals as a freshman. She's from Montesano and fighting at 132lbs. Her smile and quietness quickly disappear when she puts her headgear on and steps into the ring. It's a big week for @jomelloo as he's headed to the Collegiate Boxing Championships at West Point representing @HuskyBoxing. Jomell is a senior from South Seattle/White Center and fighting at 119lbs. He's shifty, light on his feet, and silently goes about his business in the gym. He is planning on going into teaching and you can tell that he will be an amazing addition to whatever school hires him. It's a big week for @hangthao78 as he's headed to the Collegiate Boxing Championships at West Point representing @HuskyBoxing. Hang is a senior from South Seattle/White Center and fighting at 132lbs. Don't mistake Hang's quiet demeanor as he is a phenomenal boxer. It's clear that other boxers respect him when he steps in the ring but he's also patient teacher with his teammates.
